  • October 21, 2019 - WORD OF GOD

SCRIPTURE BREAK WORD OF GOD Start daily bringing both your tongue and your heart in line with the Word of God. As a believer, you need to get serious about learning how to use faith fill words. Words are serious business. Words are carriers of life or death, faith or fear, positive or negative, right or wrong. Speaking faith filled words is speaking words that agree with the Word of God instead of the circumstances around you. Wishing and hoping won't get the job done. Speak from your spirit instead of from your mind. Stop "telling it like it is(you can have what you say-If you don’t speak to your mountain, your mountain will speak to you, right or wrong): start speaking and believing the promises of God. Put the power of words to work for you. Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Romans 4:17 (KJV) (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Mark 11:23-24 (NKJV) 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

God says "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life". Jesus says "I come that you might have life". Commit your way to Him! SCRIPTURE BREAK GOD FOCUSED Be God focused daily and don't look back on yesterday! So full of failure and regret; look ahead and seek God's way. All sin confessed you must forget. Let go of the past and move on! Focus on pleasing Christ! As we come to the end of the year, so often we look back with regret on things we did not accomplish. But sin is one thing we should never need to look back on with feelings of failure. This is not time to be half-hearted or to be a part-time Believer. This is the time to go all the way with God. Surrender yourself and your whole life to Him. Do this and He'll give you His power, His goodness and His greatness. Be His Ambassador & shine bright for Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NKJV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NLT) 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!
