SCRIPTURE BREAK ENCOURAGER Be an Encourager! We are all called to be an Encourager. It’s a rough world out there, and as Christians, we simply cannot afford not to encourage one another. Encouragement from the Lord and others are the rungs of the ladder on which we climb daily out of this world and into our Heavenly Fathers arms. Without them we slip and fall. • November 19, 2020 - BEWARE

SCRIPTURE BREAK BEWARE Beware against the pit of self-pity. When you are wary or unwell, this demonic trap is the greatest danger you face. Don't come close to the edge of the pit. Its edges crumble and before you know it, you are on the way down. It is hard to get out, keep a safe distance from it. Be on guard! Ways to protect you from self-pity. When you are occupied with praising and thanking God, it is impossible to feel sorry for yourself. Also, the closer you live to God the more distance there is between you and the pit. Live in God's Presence by fixing your eyes on HIM. Then you will be able to run with endurance the race that is set before you, without stumbling or falling. Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

SCRIPTURE BREAK DON'T RUN FROM HIM RUN TO Him, when you have sinned, made a mistake or miss the mark. You have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. Don't let Satan talk you into sinning further because you've missed the mark in one area. Give no place to the devil. Don't be afraid for God has not given you a spirit of fear. No matter how badly you've sinned, God will forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Receive His forgiveness. He's not given up on you, so don't give up on yourself. • November 14, 2020 - BORN ORIGINAL

SCRIPTURE BREAK BORN ORIGINAL Born an original and not a copy! The call on your life is for you to be the original God called you to be and not a copy. Each person has been custom made by God our Creator. Each of us has a unique and personal call on our lives. We are to be our own selves and not copy other people. Be the person God made you to be. We do not need to come up to the standards of anyone else. The average person compares himself with others! Christians should only compare themselves with the person God has call us to be. That is our standard! God made you a certain way. You are unique! You are one of a kind. To copy others is to cheat yourself out of the fullness of what God has called you to be and do. Accept and become the person God has made you to be. You are born an original don't die a copy! Genesis 1:27 (NKJV) 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Galatians 6:4 (AMP) But each one must carefully scrutinize his own work [examining his actions, attitudes, and behavior], and then he can have the personal satisfaction and inner joy of doing something commendable without comparing himself to another. Psalm 139:14 (AMP) I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

  • November 13, 2020 - JOY IS A FORCE

SCRIPTURE BREAK JOY IS A FORCE Joy is one of the most powerful spiritual forces in the world. The Joy of the Lord is our strength! Whatever circumstance you are facing today! Approach it with an attitude of joy/rejoicing. You cannot live a life of faith without being strong in the Lord; and when God wants you strong, Joy is what He uses. Joy is not a state of mind or a short-lived emotion. Because you've been born of God by the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the spirit, joy, is in you. Develop it, confess it and live by it if you want to enjoy power. Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV) Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Psalm 118:24 (NKJV) This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. James 1:2-3 (NKJV) 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
